Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen review

I'll admit that I enjoyed the first film despite the flaws and I was ready to be dissapointed with this one yet I still wanted to see it. Oh boy, here we go. Let's just start with the positives of this film first. The animations look very good and Starscream gets a good amount of screentime. Yeah that's about the only positives about this film.

This movie is just one, big plothole filled mess. You know that big fight in the city that all of those people witnessed at the end of the first film? Well that was all covered up. I assume they used the Men In Black neuralizers on everyone. Now the Transformers are all a conspiracy. I'm not going to bother with the rest of the story. The movie is so drawn out and boring and dragged out for a whole two and a half hours.

There's too much out of place humor like humping and the mom eating weed brownies and the racist robot twins. Also, though the animations look good, a lot of the Decepticons look very similar and it's really hard to tell who's hitting who during the fight scenes. My favorite Transformer of all-time, Soundwave, does make an appearance, but he now sounds like Dr. Claw rather than the robot voice he had in the cartoon series.

This is the first time I've ever regretted spending money on a film. It was just awful. Don't see this in theaters, and I can't even recommend waiting for it to show up on HBO. It's just a terribly boring film.

You might have heard that Michael Jackson has passed away. He has made quite an impact in the music industry and he will be missed. I opened up with a tribute to Billy Mays in all caps lock. He is the well-known pitchman for Oxi Clean and other products, and recently co-starring in Pitchmen on Discovery Channel. I was quite shocked to hear the news of his passing. Pitchmen showed everyone how cool of a person he was. The season finale gave us a touching tribute to the man and he will also be missed.

That just about does it for this one. My 22nd birthday is coming up on July 22. Gifts are cool. *wink wink Amazon wishlist link over there wink wink*. If you don't want to buy me anything, I'll accept codes from the Pepsi caps with the Rock Band promotion. Just email them to me. See you next time.
